Houzd Community Giveback: Supporting the Communities We Serve
The Houzd Community Giveback is our way of supporting the communities we serve every day.
At Houzd Mortgage, we believe being part of a community means more than just working in it. Instead, it means showing up, paying attention, and taking consistent action where it matters most.
Because of that belief, we launched the Houzd Community Giveback — a monthly program that supports local charities chosen directly by our clients, partners, and friends.
Each month, we set aside funds and invite our community to help decide where that support goes.
What Is the Houzd Community Giveback?
The Houzd Community Giveback is a monthly initiative where Houzd Mortgage donates up to $2,000 to a charity selected by our community.
Anyone connected to Houzd can submit a charity for consideration. Then, each month, we choose one organization to receive a donation on behalf of everyone who participated.
Additionally, as a small thank-you, we give away one Minky Couture blanket each month to a participant who opts into the giveaway.
Ultimately, the goal stays simple: support meaningful causes while staying connected to the communities we’re fortunate to serve.
How the Houzd Community Giveback Works
Participating in the Houzd Community Giveback is straightforward:
• First, submit a charity you care about
• Next, we select one charity each month to receive a donation
• At the same time, we randomly select one participant to receive a Minky Couture blanket
• Finally, we contact all winners directly
There’s no cost to participate and no obligation beyond sharing a cause that matters to you.
Why We Created the Houzd Community Giveback
Over the years, we’ve worked with people who care deeply about their families, neighborhoods, and communities. In fact, many of our clients and partners already support causes doing meaningful work — often quietly and without recognition.
Because of that, we wanted a better way to learn about those causes and support them consistently.
Rather than making one-off donations, we chose to set aside money every month and involve our community in deciding where it goes. As a result, the Houzd Community Giveback allows us to give back intentionally, sustainably, and together.
Who Can Participate?
The Houzd Community Giveback is open to:
• Past and current clients
• Real estate partners
• Friends and family
• Anyone connected to the Houzd community
You don’t need an active loan or transaction with us. As long as there’s a charity you care about, you’re welcome to participate.
