If you’ve driven down State Street in Sandy and wondered when that very pink building was actually going to start handing out doughnuts, the wait is officially over!
Pinkbox Doughnuts is opening its new Sandy, Utah location on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 10235 State Street. The grand opening celebration includes a ribbon cutting at 9:00 a.m., followed by the public celebration beginning at 10:00 a.m.
What Is Pinkbox Doughnuts?
Pinkbox Doughnuts started in Las Vegas and has become known for colorful shops and some seriously over-the-top doughnuts.
The menu goes well beyond the standard glazed doughnut, with more than 70 varieties ranging from classics to elaborate specialty creations. Pinkbox already has Utah locations in St. George and American Fork, making Sandy its third location in the state.
What’s Different About the New Sandy Pinkbox?
The Sandy location is introducing something new for the company: Pinkycade, Pinkbox Doughnuts’ first interactive arcade experience.
The idea is to make the Sandy shop more of a destination than simply a place to grab a box of doughnuts and leave.
Considering the doughnuts already look like something created after giving a pastry chef unlimited sugar and zero adult supervision, adding an arcade feels pretty appropriate.
